Plan the replacement before manufacture

A replacement starts with the existing opening and the condition of the surrounding wall, sill and frame. Photographs and approximate sizes help us discuss the scope, but the final dimensions and fixing details must be established before the windows are manufactured.

Tell us about floor level, access restrictions and any building or community requirements. For a new build, share the window schedule and relevant drawings so that frame sizes, opening directions and finishes can be coordinated with the other work.

Fitting, sealing and handover

A well-specified window still needs correct fitting. Frame alignment, suitable fixing, perimeter sealing and drainage details must work with the opening. The installation scope should also clarify removal of existing frames and the responsibility for surrounding finishes.

At handover, review sash operation, handles, locking and the visible seals. Ask the team about cleaning the profiles and glass and maintaining the hardware for the system you selected.
